01.09.10 Paper Daydream has been officially selected to screen in competition in the Brief Encounters Best of British programme as part of the Encounters International Festival 2010! 02.07.10 Paper Daydream has been voted Best Original Design 2010 by the Animation Block Party jury at its world premiere in NY! 26.06.10 We're chuffed to announce that Paper Daydream will have its world premiere at the Animation Block Party's 7th Annual Festival in NYC, USA on 31st July at BAMcinematek. For more details please visit the festival programs page. 01.02.10 After a year in production our short animated film, Paper Daydream, directed by Jun Iwakawa, has finally been completed. A HUGE thanks to: Tim Sutton (sound design and music), Jet Omoshebi (Colourist), Vincent Schmitt (hand model) and producer Anke Schiemann for helping make it happen. We're currently busy preparing it for the festival circuit. More news later... 16.04.09 Our short film, Franklin Haywire will be screened at The East London Film Festival at Rich Mix on Friday 24th April from 7.00pm as part of 'Black Representation On Screen'. As a late selection, there is no mention on the online programme although it will appear on the press releases. To buy tickets please click here. 17.07.08 Jun Iwakawa has just finished work on the titles for Odd Girl Out Productions film, The Solitary Life Of Cranes directed by Eva Weber. Funded by The Channel 4 British Documentary Film Foundation, the film had its premiere at the Britdoc Festival where it won best film. 01.05.08 Open Days and Visits has a second screening with Rotoreliefs on Sunday 4th May at 14.00. The venue this time round is at the Vibe Bar (The Old Truman Brewery) on Brick Lane. Once again, Sinclair Obiora will be attending to talk about his work. 10.03.08 Our Harmonics promo has been selected for screening at the 5th International Bangkok Experimental Film Festival (BEFF 5), running between the 25-30 March this year. For full programme details please visit here. 20.01.08 The moves07 tour continues with Harmonics screenings confirmed on the 24th January in Antwerp, Belgium, as part of the Ampersdans Festival, and at The Dukes cinema in Lancaster on 25th March. 11.01.08 Open Days and Visits directed by Sinclair Obiora, will be screened at Rotoreliefs on Tuesday 15th January, starting at 19.00 at Borough High St, nr London Bridge. As part of the programme, Sinclair will be present to talk about his work. 01.10.07 Launch of the revised PLOT23 site: Basically a simplified site, stripped of irrelevant clutter. Apologies for the lack of a showreel but we're on the case and it will be uploaded in due course. 25.09.07 Harmonics has been accepted into two more festivals. The first of which is Kinofest - International Digital Film Festival, which takes place on 13th to 14th October in Bucharest, Romania. The venue is the magnificent National Museum of Contemporary Art in The Palace of Parliament. Following this is the Cinem@tic 2007 Short Film Festival in Birmingham, where it will be screened at the IMAX Cinema, Millennium Point on Wednesday 17th October in the evening. To book seats at either festivals, please visit their websites. 16.07.07 The Portobello Film Festival takes place this year between Sunday 1st August and Saturday 21 August, with free film screenings. You can catch Harmonics on Sunday 18th August at the Inn on the Green. 01.06.07 As part of the moves07 touring programme, Harmonics will be screened around the UK and internationally, starting from July 2007 to March 2008.
